2018 Louis Pere & Fils Brouilly, Beaujolais $35

This Gamay from Brouilly, one of the Cru areas of Beaujolais (there are 10 of them) and they make fine feminine wines. This wine is delicious - tight fruit and musk with hints of spice and cinnamon, unripened plum and blueberries on the palate with nice, firm tannins.

2013 Antonio Luce Montepulciano $30

I have chosen this wine for the Lamb, it has lovely herbaceousness and savoury tones and some nice sweet dark berry fruits. I also feel the wine compliments the season.
